How long do I have to rent for?
Month to month. There's no annual contract — rent for a season or for years, and give notice when you're finished.
Do I need my own lock?
Yes. You supply the lock and keep the only key, so nobody can open your unit but you. We can point you to the right size if you're not sure.
What size do I actually need?
A 10x15 holds roughly a one-car garage worth of belongings — a small apartment's furniture, or lawn and seasonal gear. The 14-foot-wide units take a camper, boat or a contractor's full kit. If you're between sizes, call and describe what you have; we'd rather put you in the right unit the first time.
Can I store a camper, boat or trailer?
Yes — outdoor spots priced by the month, and the wider 14-foot units will take a camper or boat under a roof if you'd rather it were indoors. Spaces go before winter, so it's worth asking early.
When is rent due, and how do I pay?
On the first of each month. We take cash, check or card — card payments carry a processing fee, so most tenants pay by check. If rent hasn't arrived within five days of the due date a $20 late fee is added.
What do I pay at move-in?
Your first month's rent plus a deposit equal to one month's rent. If you move in partway through a month, that first month is prorated to the days you actually use.
When can I get to my unit?
Any time — the site is open 24 hours a day, every day. There's no office to wait for; call or email and we'll meet you at the unit if you need a hand.
